The Last Stand – Movie 19 of 365

There used to be a retirement age for action heroes. It seemed that once they got past age forty or so, they moved on to more dramatic roles or played the mentor of the new up-and-comer. Not so much anymore, who would’ve thought that here I would be approaching middle age watching the action stars of my youth continuing to kick ass on the big screen. But that’s just what I’m doing.

After supporting roles in the “Expendables” franchise it seems Arnold is back in action. He stars as Ray Owens in “The Last Stand”, his first leading role since “Terminator 3″ (2003). Schwarzenegger portrays a sheriff of a piece of small town America which stands between a dangerous fugitive and freedom in Mexico.
